This Privacy Policy explains how Pro Student ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal data when you use pro-student.com and our services. It is written to align with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and its Implementing Regulations issued by the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA).

1. Who we are (data controller)

2. Personal data we collect

• Identity and contact data: name, email address, phone number, nationality, and (where you ask us to arrange a visa or a booking) passport and related travel details.
• Enquiry and booking data: preferred destination, institute/school, course, study dates, duration, accommodation and transfer preferences.
• Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring page, and approximate location — collected through cookies and similar technologies only with your consent.
• Communications: messages, form submissions and correspondence you send us.
• Marketing and advertising data: campaign and interaction data collected with your consent.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive data (such as health data) except where you provide it to us voluntarily and it is necessary for a service you requested.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies. We classify them as:

• Strictly necessary — required for the site to function securely, to remember your language preference, and to store your cookie choice. These are always active.
• Analytics — help us understand how the site is used (for example Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager).
• Marketing and advertising — used to measure campaigns and show relevant advertising (for example Google Ads and Meta).

We only set non-essential cookies after you give consent. Nothing that is not strictly necessary loads before you make a choice. 5. Sharing and recipients

• language schools, institutes and education providers necessary to deliver the service you requested;
• service providers who process data on our behalf (hosting, IT, analytics, CRM, email and communications), under written contracts;

Our main service providers include Railway (backend and database hosting), Vercel (website hosting), Google (analytics and advertising) and Iconify (icons).

We do not sell your personal data.

6. Cross-border transfers

We are based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, but some of our service providers store or process personal data outside the Kingdom. In particular:

• Hosting and database (Railway): our backend application and database are hosted with Railway on servers located in Singapore. Enquiry, booking and related data are stored and processed there.
• Website hosting (Vercel): our website is hosted with Vercel, a provider based in the United States. Server-side functions run in Washington, D.C., USA, and static content is delivered through Vercel's global content-delivery network, which may receive your IP address.
• Analytics and advertising (Google): Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics/Ads may process technical and usage data outside the Kingdom.
• Icons (Iconify): our website loads icon images from Iconify's content-delivery network, which may receive your IP address.

We transfer personal data outside the Kingdom only where permitted under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and its Implementing Regulations, and we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as contractual data-protection terms and standard contractual clauses with our providers — or on your explicit consent. 7. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, for the duration of our relationship with you, and for any additional period required by applicable law, after which we delete or anonymise it.

8. Your rights

Under the PDPL you have the right to:

• be informed about how your personal data is processed;
• access your personal data;
• request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• request deletion of data that is no longer needed;
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• request a portable copy of your data; and
• withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal).

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls, least-privilege access, and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

10. Children

Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect the personal data of children without the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change, and we will provide notice of material changes where required by law.
